The Government of Canada will hold a commemorative ceremony at the Courtrai Newfoundland Memorial on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Courtrai–the Royal Newfoundland Regiment’s last major engagement of the First World War. Members of the public are encouraged and welcome to attend. Pre-registration is not required. Please plan to arrive by 10:30 a.m.
